📘 How to Update tokenURI on Etherscan

1. Go to etherscan.io and search your NFT contract address.
2. Click the Contract tab.
3. Click Write as Proxy or Write Contract (depending on setup).
4. Connect your wallet (top right corner).
5. Find the function named updateTokenURI (or setTokenURI).
6. Enter:
   • Token ID — the ID of the token you want to update.
   • New tokenURI — the Arweave link to your metadata JSON, e.g.:
     https://arweave.net/your-metadata-tx-id
7. Click Write and approve the transaction in your wallet.

🛠 How to Use This Tool

1. Fill in the Name and Description fields.
2. Upload the image file you’ve already uploaded to Arweave.
3. Paste the public Arweave image link (see below).
4. Click Generate Metadata.
5. Click Download JSON — this is your metadata file.
6. Upload the downloaded JSON file to your Public Drive on ArDrive.
7. Once synced, click the file and click Preview in the info panel.
8. This will open the metadata on https://arweave.net. Copy that full link.
9. Use that link as your tokenURI on Etherscan.

📎 How to Get a Proper Arweave Image Link

1. Upload your image to a Public Drive using ArDrive.
2. Wait for the file to finish syncing (status may say "pending").
3. Click the file. In the right-side info panel, click Preview.
4. Copy the full Arweave.net URL that opens — this is the correct image URL to paste into this tool.

🧬 How to Create Fully On-Chain Metadata

1. Fill in the Name and Description.
2. Upload the image file you want embedded on-chain (smaller file sizes recommended).
3. Click Generate TokenURI.
4. The output box will display your fully on-chain base64 encoded tokenURI.
5. Copy this and paste it as the new tokenURI on Etherscan for your NFT token.
6. This embeds both the image and metadata directly into the token — no external storage required.
